The ACAF is a non-statutory body that advises the Government on matters pertaining to the sustainable development of agriculture and fisheries in Hong Kong.

The company is honored to have cooperated with Hong Kong Disneyland for more than 15 years. Since 2005, it has provided sustainable seafood to Disney, and has done its part to support ecological environmental protection and social responsibility.

According to WWF data, Hong Kong has the second highest seafood consumption per capita in Asia and the eighth highest in the world. Therefore, the seafood choices of Hong Kong people have a profound impact on the ocean. Hong Kongers consumed an average of 66.5kg of seafood per person in 2017, more than three times the global per capita consumption.

Worldwide Seafood Ltd. has been committed to promoting environmentally friendly seafood in Hong Kong and Macau for many years. It is hoped that more young people will support the sustainable development plan and pass the environmental message to the students.

Worldwide Seafood Ltd. is member of the fish marketing advisory board by HKSAR Agriculture, Fisheries and Conversation Department. We encourage you to join "FarmFest 2021", which is jointly organised by the FarmFest Organising Committee, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), the Vegetable Marketing Organization and the Fish Marketing Organization, is held online (www.farmfesthk.com). There are over 100 local fishermen and farmers participating in the online sale, including accredited fish farmers, oyster farmers, organic farmers, accredited farmers, traditional premium vegetable farmers and hydroponic farmers. Local vegetables available at the FarmFest website will be harvested and delivered to the consumers on the same day to ensure the freshness.

A total of 12 respected and esteemed chefs from local hotels and restaurants went head to head at Cafe Deco on 9 April (Saturday) to compete for the Hong Kong Oyster Shucking Championship 2016. Co-organized by Cafe Deco and Worldwide Seafood Ltd. for the fifth year, the talented chefs impressed the veteran judges with their speed and technique in shucking the finest Irish rock oysters.

Competitors across the catering industry, such as Sheraton Hong Kong, The Excelsior and MGM Macau, have gathered to showcase their speedy and sharps shucking. behind all the fun and excitement was a commitment to sustainability: not only were the oysters used at the shucking competition sustainably cultured in Ireland, but also the brunch served on that day was also a seafood buffet that was entirely ocean-friendly.
